Summer’s here, and there’s no better way to spend a sunny day than out on the lake. Just outside Knoxville, you’ll find Tennessee National Marina, which sits where Watts Bar Lake meets the Tennessee River.
As lake lovers ourselves, we love nothing more than spending time making memories with friends and families at the lake. As part of our commitment to bringing more great experiences to East Tennessee, we have purchased a fleet of brand new, state-of-the-art 2021 South Bay pontoon boats and a Grand Island Double Decker pontoon boat. All are now available for daily rentals.
Is renting a pontoon boat at the lake right for you? If you can answer “yes” to any of these seven reasons, then it’s time to book your rental today.
Renting a pontoon boat gives you a prime opportunity to spend time cruising with friends or family on the lake. Feel the sun and the cool breeze as you take in gorgeous lake views driving along the waterways of Watts Bar Lake and the Tennessee River.
All Tennessee National rental boats seat up to 10 passengers and come fully stocked with life jackets, anchors, maps, Silos onboard dining menus, and a Bluetooth speaker. Each boat also has a bimini covering to provide shade while you’re out for the day. So anchor and go for a swim, have a floating picnic, or even host a dance party; the boat is yours from 10 am to 6 pm.
Into adventure? Get your blood pumping by renting a tube and prepare yourselves for hours of lake fun. Or give your kids something to talk about by renting our Grand Island Double Decker* pontoon boat, which features a second level complete with a water slide off the back.
Bring your own food to enjoy on the boat or take advantage of onboard ordering from Silos, our brand new onsite restaurant. Menus are onboard each boat along with a phone number to call to place your order, which our staff will then deliver to your boat for your convenience.
Relaxation at its finest; nothing beats a stunning sunset lake cruise. Extend your rental to include a sunset cruise from 6:30-8:30 pm. Have dinner delivered before you head out, and you will have everything you need to sit back and enjoy a magnificent sunset with your family or friends.
Just bring yourselves and the food and drinks of your choice and prepare yourself for a stress-free day of fun in the sun. You don’t have to worry about cleaning your boat, hooking up to a trailer, driving it to the marina, parking, or getting gas before heading out on the water. Simply take the scenic drive down Tennessee National Drive and park at the marina. Your ten-passenger, state-of-the-art pontoon boat is waiting for you in one of our Tennessee National marina boat slips. Take it for a cruise and return it to our team at the end of your day, and we’ll take care of everything else. It’s that easy.
Watts Bar is a 39,000-acre lake that spans 72 miles and is home to some of the best bass fishing in the lake. And the Tennessee River, which meets Watts Bar Lake at Tennessee National, is known for largemouth, smallmouth, and striped bass, making our location prime fishing “reel” estate (see what we did there?).
Renting a pontoon boat is a great way to see if you’d like to own one. So take it for the day and decide if you’d like to purchase a pontoon boat of your very own. Be warned, though, once you see how easy and enjoyable our boat rentals are, you may decide renting is the way to go forever!
We work hard so you can play hard. Cleaning, preparing, service, and fueling up: We regularly perform all necessary tasks for every rental boat. Save yourself time and money. Just reserve your boat, pack your bags, and arrive at the marina in time for fun. We’ve got you covered.
Along with all the shortages this last year has brought, now there’s a boat shortage, too! Don’t let the summer go by without going out on the lake. Take advantage of our rental boats while you’re on the hunt or waiting for yours to come in.
Renting a boat is a fun, easy way to spend time on the lake this summer, and we can help! Simply call Tennessee National Marina at 865-657-3617. A boating pro will find the perfect boat and answer all of your questions about your day on the lake. See you soon!
